We all understand what happens to our bodies age.
Without intervention (an exercise / activity program), we know that takes our muscles waste, our lung capacity, our heart is weakened, our brittle bones to reduce our flexibility and mobility, slow down our response time suffers from our position, we move slowly and we're more susceptible to disease and injury.
Unless we happen to run a natural active lifestyle (one where you regularly consume a lot of energy to live, move, lift, stress your body ... consistently do a physical).
I have spoken before on this site about a concept called biological age (also known as physiological age) and found that by controlling certain variables (diet, lifestyle, exercise, stress), can fully reverse the Our internal clock. Although we are fifty (in chronological order) you can "build" our own body corresponds to that of a typical thirty (related to cardiovascular function,Strength, bone density, blood pressure, flexibility).
If you punish your body for fifty years, is another story, of course ... but at least you can turn back the clock too little and see a marked improvement of health, physical function and general wellbeing.
What's on (usually) with a large percentage of population that we reach a point in time, if we simply stop moving so much. We keep running, lifting, hammering, climbing, cleaning, working ....physical things. And once this happens, our body begins to age at a faster pace. It 'difficult to quantify (the rate of aging), as it varies from person to person ... But let's just go with ... a rate much higher.
(Like our colleagues on).
For many people, where the pension-start-the-end will be renamed, stop just about everything to keep fit (I speak from a health point of view and not a function here ... unbelievable viewPerspective).
I am not suggesting that all the work up to ninety-five ... But for some people the day of the retreat agenda was to stop them with their minds and their bodies (significantly).
The day they start to deteriorate.
Ironically, if you know how excited most people keep to this day.
And while it is common and "normal structure for some of us to train our body in an effort to stay physically young, surprisingly, most of us are not aware of similarwhen it comes to our mind to stay in shape (ie, deliberately 'perception' of our mind as we do our body).
Interestingly, if we consider these two facts:
1) People generally slower than that age mentally .... loss of short-term memory (where are my keys?), process information more slowly, have difficulty concentrating and more easily confused, vague, and tend to be less creative and less adventurous.
2) You do not have! Several studies (and simple observation) tellus that our mind, like any other muscle (okay, not a muscle, but you get my point) should be trained to stay in shape. Without people with special medical conditions, is that people who remain mentally active as you age typically have little (or not) their level of deterioration in brain function.
Once we no longer use ... We begin to lose.
The good news is that our brain (like our body) is able to adapt and grow considerably ("muscle"), at any age. We can(To an extent) undo some (if not most of the damage) of.
It 'good to be physically fit, but what is the point four percent body fat, biceps Olympic veins and veins, if we have a mind like a Dalmatian?
So, after two hundred years of helping people reach physically fit, here are my suggestions for developing and maintaining a high performance mind.
First objective.
When we stop defining the objectives of the moment is starting to go back. Without goals you do notto think, plan, streamline, to solve problems or create (much).

Fifth Learning a new language.
Research tells us that people who speak two languages (regularly), age (mentally) than a slower pacetheir uni-lingual (made it ... I think) friends. They stay in shape (mentally) for more information ... There are also delayed the onset of Alzheimer's disease.
